Our Story


Danny Bourgeois hails from Moncton, New Brunswick. At the tender age of 5, he picked up his first drumsticks, and he’s been laying down the beat ever-since. Awarded as a  ECMA 2017 musicians achievement award recipient and has more than 30 years of experience, he first started performing in bars at the age of 13, and two years later, he was already becoming an established session drummer. He has played on more than 70 albums to date,   backed up a variety of artists, whose styles range from rock to country, pop to folk. Today, he is the proud owner of Pumpk’n Patch Recording Studio, in Memramcook, New Brunswick, where he is an accomplished recording engineer and producer, as well as session drummer.
His unquestionable talent has brought him to the world stage on numerous occasions. He has toured with and backed up artists throughout Canada, the United States, and Europe. He has shared the stage with world-renown recording artist Roch Voisine, lead singer from Canadian rock band Helix, Brian Volmer, lead singer from reputable Big Sugar, Gordie Johnson, CCMA award winners Chris Cummings, Shirley Myers and Aaron Prichett,Greg Hanna as well as Tracy Starr, Wilfred Lebouthilier, Lisa Leblanc, Pascal Lejeune,Caroline Savoie Jean-François Breau, Chris Colepaugh, Garoche ,Lina Boudreau, Angèle Arsenault, Edith Butler and David Ball, among others. He is actively touring with George Belliveau, Dominique Dupuis. Melanie Morgan, with whom he did a 10-week stint on the CBC show “Cover Me Canada”.and many others!! His drumming skills have been showcased in music videos from Chris Cummings and George Belliveau, as well as on numerous CBC television shows and specials, most notably “Luc et Luc“ and “Musikotrip”and Most recently "Clé" 
Whether he’s in the studio or on stage, Danny excels in everything he does. Many young new drummers look up to Danny, known by many as one of the top drummers in Canada. This self-taught drummer has always looked up to drummers who are active in the music industry and are chameleons, much like him, and who are very well-rounded drummers capable of playing a wide range of styles. Dave Weckl, Abe Laboriel Jr., Vinnie Colaiuta, Alex Van Halen, Kenny Arnoff, Todd Sucherman, and of course, the late great Buddy Rich, are among the few who influenced this virtuoso drummer. His admiration for these drumming greats stems not only from the fact that they have perfected their techniques, but they also live, dream and eat music. Danny is Greatfull to be living his dream by living off his music, and with his craft, he will no doubt do so for a very long time.
